Whatever your studies, the Careers and Employability Service is here to help you with career planning and development for your postgraduate study and beyond. Offering events, talks, a unique personal development tool MySkills and support in finding and securing work experience, the service also aims to help explore your options through online, one to one and group support.
Employability Hub
Alongside the University Careers and Employability Service, we provide a range of projects and events specifically tailored to social sciences subjects. We aim to support you as you start to explore careers and build experience and skills to help you move on successfully from your studies, for example - you may be considering a placement year.
Volunteering
helps students of all levels to make an impact in our city through community volunteering. By giving your time, not only can you contribute to your community, but you will gain new skills and experiences, which will in turn enhance your personal development and can make an impact on your CV. You can volunteer both within and outside of the University.
