Florey PGRs launch Lunchtime Seminar Series

On Tuesday 11 March, the first of an ongoing series of lunchtime seminars run by the Florey Postgraduate Research committee took place.

The first of an ongoing series of lunchtime seminars run by the Florey Postgraduate Research (PGR) committee took place on Tuesday 11 March (2025). 

Attendees enjoyed two excellent talks, firstly from Dr Fadi Soukarieh, a new lecturer in the School of Allied Health Professions, Nursing and Midwifery, who spoke about his work on 鈥渘ew strategies to tackle Pseudomonas aeruginosa 产颈辞蹿颈濒尘蝉鈥.

Secondly, Dr Ben Lindsey, a PhD student in the Division of Clinical Medicine, gave an overview of his project on 鈥淰iral Inflammatory Memory Within The Respiratory Tract". 

The seminar was followed by free pizza and offered a fantastic opportunity for attendees to network and catch up with other researchers.

The lunchtime seminars will run bimonthly and welcome speakers from across the university at different stages of their research careers.
