Undergraduate Student
BA (Hons) Journalism Studies
2020
Adriana is studied BA Journalism Studies.

I first came to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ to do my foundation course in the International College before proceeding to do my undergraduate in the School of Journalism, Media and Communication. The journalism course ranked the first in the country and that is why I decided to study here, to learn in the best department in the country!

When I first came to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, it immediately felt right, you get the best of both worlds, where you can experience both the countryside and the city center right at your doorstep. ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ is also a great location to get to know other UK cities, I usually travel by train and use the aged 16-25 discount railcard which saves 1/3 on the price.

What I love about ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ is the friendly faces you meet on the street, the warm welcome from the university and a whole bunch of opportunities that you can get. I am currently serving as the creative media officer for ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Volunteering and I have had the best time giving back to the community in ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ! I am so glad to call ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ my home now and I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I do!
